Le Petit Pali Laguna Beach

I had to write this before we’ve even arrived, because the experience so far deserves it. Katie, the front desk supervisor at Le Petit Pali Laguna Beach, was genuinely one of the kindest, most thoughtful people I’ve ever spoken to when booking a hotel. From the very first phone call, she made me feel like more than just a reservation number. She explained every detail This trip is for my birthday, and without hesitation she went out of her way to make it special — helping us with the booking, and even placing us in a special room. Nothing felt transactional or forced. It was just real, human kindness and care, which is honestly rare these days. The warmth, professionalism, and generosity she showed us already set the tone for what I know is going to be an amazing stay. If this is the level of service before we even check in, I can’t imagine how great the rest will be. I will absolutely be updating this review after our stay, but I couldn’t wait to recognize Katie for going above and beyond. She’s the kind of person who makes you excited to arrive and confident you chose the right place. Thank you, Katie — truly.

What a fantastic boutique hotel! The decor & design were so stunning. The cookies at turn down and the champagne at breakfast were lovely. It’s a great location! Just a short walk to a beautiful beach area. The rooms& bed were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this for a charming stay in Laguna!

From the moment we arrived, we knew this stay was different. Every detail felt intentional. The design was stunning yet comfortable, elevated yet welcoming. The staff was genuinely kind and attentive, and the service felt personal rather than transactional. What stood out most was how it did not feel like a hotel. It felt like home with impeccable design, luxurious accommodations, and exceptional service. We truly did not want to leave, and that says everything. We will absolutely be back!! PS best cocktails!

What an adorable hotel! I stopped in a few weeks ago while visiting friends in Laguna and was very impressed. The staff was so welcoming and kind. The rooms are beautiful! The sunsets are next level here. I loved the craft style cocktail hour! Well done La Petit Pali!

Was looking for a local getaway for my wife and I and got very lucky with a last minute booking for a single night.. I let the staff know it was my wife and I’s 4th wedding anniversary and that we would be coming after dinner. We arrived after dinner to a perfect room adorned with chocolates and cookies. My wife absolutely loved the Parisian aesthetic and touch Shaquille and Ryan went above and beyond making sure we were settled when we arrived. Then next morning fresh coffee and breakfast and a level of customer service that kept the ease and comfort of our getaway alive. If you’re in OC and want a little getaway without grabbing your passport THIS IS THE SPOT

Le Petit Pali Laguna Beach was one of the best hotels that I have stayed at in years. It is a newly opened boutique hotel in South Laguna Beach across the street from the Montage Hotel and Treasure Island Beach. South Laguna Beach is less busy than North Laguna and a quick 30-minute drive from John Wayne Airport. Plenty of parking in the hotel lot. Let me start out by saying that the staff are all WONDERFUL. They treated me and others with respect, answered questions and went out of their way to ensure that everything was perfect. The rooms were very clean, beautifully decorated with such charm from an old fashion looking "ice box" to mini chocolates, comfortable bedding, great complimentary lotion, shampoo etc...plus nightly "cookies" delivered to your room. The pool was fantastic, comfy lounges and towels with palm trees hanging overhead and beautiful flowers throughout the property. Complimentary champagne (and good champagne) at check-in and complimentary breakfast daily including champagne, mimosas, coffee, tea, juices, fresh fruit, granola, yogurt (delicious), bread and pastries. My only recommendation would be smaller pastries; can pastries be too big? YES, and unfortunately most guests barely could eat half. The beautiful Treasure Island beach across the street is perfect for laying out, walking it looking for sea glass and to watch the nightly sunsets that Southern California is well known for. Also in walking distance are some good restaurants including a great sushi one and a delicious pizza place next door. Le Petit Pali Laguna Beach is perfect for bachelorette/girl's getaways, couples and singles. I personally think the vibe is for adults only, but they allow children....I stayed in Room 11, loved it! Highly recommend this place and excited to come back to this hotel and try some of their sister properties!

One of the best hotel stay experiences ever, everything from the decor and aesthetics of the room, to the location looking over the laguna beach were amazing. We got to see the sunset every day. Truly a very memorable stay! Very friendly staff especially Collette (I am not sure if thats how she spells her name) she was very helpful and warm to us. Recommended a few of local gems which is always welcome! One issue we encountered was that the coffee machine in the room wasn't working but it was fixed promptly once reported so pretty good service as well.

We booked this for a cute little getaway from the city, and it absolutely did not disappoint — it exceeded every expectation. From Katie at the front warmly welcoming us, to Michael making an incredible margarita, to Karen in the morning with the fresh croissants, and the cookies delivered at 6 p.m., every detail was so thoughtfully done. The space itself was adorable. I loved all the precious little touches — the tea kettle, the vintage speaker, the charming mini fridge — everything felt so quaint, intentional, and special. It truly felt like the perfect cozy escape. The location was also ideal, just a short walk down to the Montage beach, where the coastline was absolutely stunning. It was the perfect peaceful getaway, and we can’t wait to come back.
